Diane Glassburn was brought up on her family’s Polled Hereford farm in upstate New York, where she raised award winning cattle and rode her quarter horse competitively. After graduating high school, she attended New England Education Center in Framingham, Massachusetts, where she received her degree as a Veterinary Technician. After graduation, she returned to New York, where she worked for an animal hospital that specialized in both large and small animals. In 1977, she moved to Kansas City to marry her high school sweetheart and start a family. During this time, Diane started her tenure at Johnson County Animal Clinic. In 1987, Diane took some time off from the clinic to be closer to her two children while they were young. After a few years, she started back in the business at Leawood Plaza Animal Hospital, where she has been until the present. All totaled, she has worked for the two hospitals for almost thirty years. Her children have both graduated from college and have started out on their own and now her family also includes two dogs, three cats, and numerous strays that seem to be attracted to her home.
